Summary This is a spatially and temporally double-size
variant of the standard GaborME.0.0
model. The spatial Gabor filter was constructed using a Gaussian SD
that is twice as wide and a spatial frequency that is 1/2 that of the
standard model. The temporal Gabor filter was constructed using a
Gaussian SD that is 1/2 as long and a temporal frequency that is
double that of the standard model.
Results
Results are similar to those for GaborME.0.0, except that the peak of
the SF tuning curve is one octave lower and that of the TF tuning curve
is one octave higher.
Discussion
The gain before the Poisson spike generation is set to 1/2 times that of
the standard model, to account for the factor of two expansion of the
linear filter in two spatial dimensions and the halving of the
temporal dimension.
