Summary This is a spatially double, temporally
quarter-size variant of the standard GaborME.0.0 model. The spatial Gabor
filter was constructed using a Gaussian SD that is twice as wide and a
spatial frequency that is half that of the standard model. The
temporal Gabor filter was constructed using a Gaussian SD that is one
quarter as long and a temporal frequency that is four times that of
the standard model.
Results
Results are similar to those for GaborME.0.0, except that the peak of
the SF tuning curves is one octave lower, and that of the TF tuning
curve is two octaves higher.
Discussion
The gain before the Poisson spike generation is the same as that of
the standard model, because the factor of two increase of the linear
filter in two spatial dimensions balances the quartering of the
temporal dimension.
