Summary This is a spatially half-size variant of the
standard GaborME.0.0 model. The
spatial Gabor filter was constructed using a Gaussian SD that is 1/2
as wide and a spatial frequency that is double that of the standard
model.
Results
Results are similar to those for GaborME.0.0, except that the SF tuning
peaks one octave higher.
Discussion
The gain before the Poisson spike generation is set to 4 times
that of the standard model, to account for the factor of two shrinkage
of the linear filter in two spatial dimensions. The RF is small at
the spatial resolution of the model (0.1 deg/pix), but is well within
the Nyquist limit.
